Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

What are the lease terms?

6-12 months.

What does it cost to move in?

It will vary by person. The application fee is $50, the admin fee is $160. First month's rent, plus the deposit is also due.

Are utilities included in the cost?

Utilities are not included.

What's your pet policy?

We do allow pets. No weight restrictions, but there are breed restrictions.

What is your guest policy?

We require anyone staying over 7 days in a row or 14 random days to be on the lease.

Do you require apartment renters insurance?

Yes, we require liability insurance.

How do I pay the rent?

You can pay in person or online.

How are repairs taken care of, especially in an emergency?

Maintenance requests are addressed in the order they are received. We have an on-call phone for an after-hours emergency. Emergencies are prioritized.

Is there public transportation nearby?

There is public transportation nearby.

What is the parking situation?

Parking is first come first serve. We do also have covered and parking garages available for a monthly fee.

Are there plans to update the building?

After social distancing restrictions are lifted, there are plans to continue renovating.

Is there a penalty for breaking my lease?

60 day written notice along with an early termination fee based on your rent.
