I love most things about living at La Ventana. Location, safety, community feel, surroundings, and maintenance staff. I love the pool, the grounds, the amazon hub and more.
What I donât love is the things that have been allowed to fall into disrepair. The buildings as a whole need a lot of work. ALL the windows need replacing. Some appliances are very old. Our garbage disposal backs up constantly despite careful use, and weâve had more plumbing issues than I can count. The hot tub is broken and Iâm sure will be closing the pool for a very long time if it ever gets fixed. Are we paying for the thousands upon thousands of gallons of water leaking out of the hot tub? We donât know but our water bill has skyrocketed! The office staff is constantly turning over. There is very little contact from the office keeping residents updated on situations like the hot tub. Most office staff seem overwhelmed, likely underpaid, and frequently donât know what they are doing.
I feel for the degree of general disrepair inside apartments, of the buildings themselves and in the pool area we should be paying a lot less than what we are.
